10 Reasons To Book Me For Your Party

The more you read through this site, the more reasons you will find to book me for your reception. The entire site is crammed with hints, tips and useful info to make your day the most memorable, joyful, fun experience possible.

Most gay couples say that from the first moment we speak, I put them completely at their ease. It usually starts with an initial chat on the phone and/or an exchange of emails. Once a deposit has been paid, you even have the option of a free, face-to-face meeting with me in your own home. We will discuss the agenda for the wedding day. This will include the music you would like to hear for background, what you would like for your first dance, plus most importantly … party music for dancing!

By the way, if you are short on ideas for your first dance, click on the Music tab above for 140 tried and tested “first dance at a wedding” suggestions. If you feel like having some dancing lessons, you can find more information about that here.

What Can I Add to your event

As a gay wedding dj / civil partnership specialist, I can contribute far more to your reception than just playing great music.

I am highly adept at creating some personalised entertainment, that is completely in tune with your vision and style.

Unlike plugging in a iPod, a DJ can read the dancefloor and play to the crowd. The result is a unique, sophisticated, memorable event where everything just flows and seems to come together naturally.

At no extra charge, I also offer outstanding master of ceremonies services similar to that provided by a professional toastmaster.

On the night, I will always respond to your guests requests in a courteous manner and accommodate their suggestions whenever possible (unless otherwise instructed, of course.

When I DJ at most weddings or civil partnerships, I arrive about 2 hours before the start and wait until it is convenient to set up.

I will be fully sound checked and ready to rock well before I am actually due to start.

However, at some weddings or civil partnerships, the hosts ask me to be set up earlier in the day. Please see my wedding pricing page for more details.

Hiring a DJ is a business transaction and should be handled as such. Contracts ensure professionalism and security for all parties involved.
If you have not booked a toastmaster or wedding coordinator I am more than comfortable stepping out from behind the DJ booth to handle those duties for you, at no additional cost … The cutting of the cake, introducing speech makers, announcing the buffet, first dance, etc. i.e. exactly the same services as those provided by an expensive professional toastmaster.
I am based in Tilbury in Essex by the Dartford Bridge. So I have easy access to Kent and the counties south of the river. However, distance is not a problem to me. I go where the work is and much of my work is in London and Brighton in Sussex.
